Carolyna Picknick (Dina Maccabee and me) has been accumulating tunes, arrangements, and performances over the last ten years and is happy to announce the release of our 2nd album of works entitled “Le Matin”! With compositions by Dina, Mouzhan, Dan Cantrell, and me, and guest performers Dan Cantrell (accordion/mallets) and Marié Abe (accordion) on a few of the tracks, “Le Matin” steps out of the purely string-band/Appalachian/bluegrass vibe of the self-titled debut album, and incorporates a touch of sweetly-orchestrated old world sound made for Hollywood, or at least made in Hollywood…
